If you don't have prior knowledge of CSS, here's a decent site for you:

http://purecssmenu.com/

Just change your settings accordingly & clock on the Download button on the lower-right of the screen.

FINALLY!!

i did discover that website earlier today but didn't have the patience to figure it out. took the time now but then i had to figure out where to paste the downloaded css into my own files  :( AND how to change the silly settings to make it look like i wanted it to look. and i got it in the end!  ;D yeah!

if there's a will, there's a way! (and i didn't even have to resort to violence or vaseline...)

thanks for the help  :D

Violence? Vaseline?! :-\

This could sound wrong on so many levels, so I'm leaving this alone.

But at least your problems are solved. ;D

Thanks Tech, you know, CSS is very contrivers topic that sometimes i rub people the wrong way. I mean well but just the way it comes out gets people ready to fight me. in all other cases, if you need a quick and dirty run on CSS, HTML, JavaScript etc... even MySQL/SQL then http://w3schools.com/ will most deffenently help out. well i used them when i first started to learn and look where that got me. (yea i know, not too far) but at least it gets your feet wet. after going through the complete tutorials you just have to use a little google and boom you can petty much design any page with CSS. Only one thing though, keep away from IDE web designing. I HATE THOSE THINGS.

On top of it, all the CSS I know is thanks to goldblattster's help with my site, as well as W3Schools. :P

That's why I posted that link (my understanding of CSS isn't enough for me to help out very well off the top of my head).
